how do i regain custody
About 8 months ago my husband took our 2 yr old boy and ran.i looked all over for them.we havent gottin a divorce yet nor custody and i would like to find out the best way to regain my baby legally.thank you

You have asked a very complicated question.
My first comment would be for you to locate your husband and/or the child. This can be done with the use of a private detective or the using the internet.
If you cannot find the father, then the situation is more difficult -- but not hopeless. You can usually serve a person that he keeps in contact with -- such as his mother.
Once you find the father, you can to go to a court and ask a Judge to order the child to be returned to you immediately. If that motion is denied, then you have many other alternatives to pursue.
