Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Regaining Custody
My ex and I have a joint custody arrangement, where he is the custodial parent. I want to move to Florida to be with my fiance, but I also want to try and fight for primary custody once I'm established and stable. As long as I keep up my holiday visitations every 3 months, how hard will it be for me to regain custody if I move out of state?

Re: Regaining Custody
About as difficult as you are thinking. Practically impossible.
Re: Regaining Custody
Assuming that there is an exisiting court order, it is always hard to convince a court to make a change in custody if there is no good reason to do so.
If the arrangement, is just something that you have worked out, it might be easier but it is still going to be difficult especially when you are going to be moving to another state.
