Relationship consent

Is it against the law for a 20 yr. old male to have a relationship with a 14 yr. old female. My dad recently called CPS on my girlfriends mom because i have been staying a few nights there. The only reason he called is because he doesn't like their family. What should i do, and is there anything i can do to him for retaliation?

It is statutory rape for a 20 year old to have sex with a minor.

The child has no say so -- even if she consents she is not legally able to consent since she is a child. Therefore, the parent can have the man arrested for statutory rape.
