relinquishment of parental rights

I haven't been allowed to see his son for about 6 years now. My son is 12 and has been brainwashd to believe I don't want him. The ex finally told me I can relinquish my rights because her husband wants to adopt the him. she has taken away every reason why I should say no, so I'm ready to do it and move on. How much will this costs if I have to pay for it, and how much will it cost if she has it drawn up and I need it reviewed by an attorney. I live in Liberty County right now, She lives in Harris I believe and the divorce took place in Harris county. Any advice would be appreciated.
