If my only remaining parent passes away what financial responsibilities am I liable for and I am the only sibling?

None. Any property you get will be transferred to you subject to any existing debt. You don't have to pay the debt, but the lender can take the property. Unless your name is on a contract to pay a debt, the debt is not yours.

If you are the executor of your parent's estate, you have a duty to pay all JUST debts from your parent's assets. You also have an obligation to resist payment of those debts until the creditor can prove that the debt is owed.
