How can I go about removing parental rights from my sons father? HE has no relationship with him and is currently behind 7500 dollars in child support.

It appears that you live in Harris County. The family judges in Harris County won't terminate a person's rights easily.

If there is a step-parent that wants to adopt the child the judges would be more willing to entertain terminating the father's parental rights.

By the way, being only $7,500 behind in child support is not much. I've seen people as much as $150,000 behind in child support.

You need to meet with a family law attorney & discuss your situation.

Look on this website & on www.avvo.com.

Good luck!
