Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have requested a copy of a specific exhibit from my divorce decree. The district clerk says it is missing from the file. Who is responsible for these documents and what recourse do I have. I need this for a possible law suit.

You should forget about the District Clerk. Get the exhibit from some other source - who provided the exhibit in the first place?
