Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been researching the arrears that I owe and I have found that the Texas OAG charges me a monthly interest rate on my arrears and the monthly child support payment and then they have been charging me a yearly interest on the remaining balance. From what I have read of the Family Code 157.265 ACCRUAL OF INTEREST ON CHILD SUPPORT this is not legal by any means. When I have brought it to the attention of my case worker at the OAG office, they refuse to help. What steps can I take to get this changed?

File a Motion for Entry of Judgment, which will bring this to the attention of a judge (who is REALLY in charge of your case - not the OAG). This gives the Judge an opportunity to review the calculation of your arrearage amount.
