I don't want to respond to a SERVED waiver

Hi, I am being served a waiver to modify visitation from the non-custodial parent. I am the custodial parent trying to avoid this waiver. If I don't sign it with a notary or even acknowledge it, will it come back to haunt me? Will the non-custodial parent get everything that they are asking for in the modification if I don't show up or say anything about the waiver? Basically, what CAN and WILL happen if I continue to avoid signing the waiver but, have been served?

Get a lawyer. You don't get SERVED with a waiver. A waiver is a document that is provided so that you do not have to be served. If you don't sign the waiver, then the other party will have to have you served. If you continue to avoid service, they will find a way to proceed without you.
