Who is responsible for the child's bills?

21 year old female is married, separated from her husband. Enters a sexual relationship with a 22yo male. Becomes pregnant. Does not know who the father is. Wants the boyfriend to pay for the doctor bills because the husband refuses. Who is responsible for the child?

Presently, the female is responsible for the bills because she is the one receiving medical care. After the child is born, DNA testing will prove who might be responsible to reimburse her.
