Do I need a restraining order?

My 21 yr old son is back from a 15 month tour in Iraq in December. He lived my 2 other kids me for 5 months. I had to kick him out because he is violent and breaks things and steals and manipulates the kids into giving him money. He still lives in town and waits at my daughters job to beg for money almost every night. I am so afraid that he is going to get violent with her or me and I am afraid he is going to break into my house and steal from us. Police were called before when he lived with me but because he lived there they wouldn't do anything about the things he took. Nor would they tell him he had to leave. He has even punched a dent in my car. I desperately need advice.

Go to the District Attorney's office and request a Protective Order. - Do it first thing Mon. a.m. Good Luck.
