Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Restricted from father to communicate with child

If a father has had a child, for 4 years, went through temp orders, they were dropped, mother has sole custody, mother continued to contact child, father made every effort to restrict access, mother could not contact, mother finds out custody orders still valid and tries to regain custody. Based on 11 yr history of fathers abduction incidents could a judge only ask why does mother want custody now? Mother has been tormented by fathers actions and child is severly emotionally abused, she is 12 yrs. Mother has current valid orders, doesnt she have the right to get her regardless of time lapse?

Re: Restricted from father to communicate with child

It is difficult to understand your question. If you have a valid court order for visitation, then file to enforce the order. There is apparently a great deal of information, and proceedings that have taken place over the past 12 years. You need an attorney to sort through this and determine what your future options are.
