Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Reversal of Custody

My daughter will be 12 years old in March and is insisting on living with her father. I am no longer opposed to the idea. I am the custodial parent. What do I need to do legally to do a reversal of custody. And once she is gone, if i am the noncustodial parent, by law, do I legally have to take her back if she has problems there. I have two other children and am married. I am trying to avoid her coming and going from house to house, so would like to protect myself legally if I did not want to invite her back.

Re: Reversal of Custody

She's your child. I guess I don't understand why you wouldn't want her back. Kids sometimes see the grass as greener (don't we all). But you would need to go to court (or her dad) for a Motion to Modify Custody. Good Luck.
