Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Rights

I have a 17 year old who got pregnant and her parents kicked her out told her not to return. I have gotten her started with all medical care assistance(i,e, prenatal medication,primary care physician and medicaid) She is a friend of the family not a relative. What rights do I have or what does she need to do so that we could help her especialy with college inrolement comming soon in regards to signing anything for FASFA, taxes or any permition slips from school?

You have no rights.

Since she is 17 and about to become a parent, her best option at this time might be to become emancipated. Low cost legal services might be willing to represent her. In this way, she would have the legal right to make application for admission and financial aid, without the consent of her parents.
