Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I would like to have a rule 11 agreement with my ex to establish rights to maintain a passport for our 8 year old son. We have agreed to specific language and would like to file this with the court ourselves to avoid attorney fees. Is there a standard format or form we can use?

Typically Rule 11 agreements are between attorneys. It sound's like you want to modify the terms of your divorce to provide for the passport issue. I suggest you contact the passport office to get their take on what you want to do. This may be covered in the language of the decree or in the family code. You really need to consult an attorney to make sure you don't do something wrong.
Yes there are forms you can use to modify the terms of your divorce. Go to any law library and try to figure it out.
Of course, an attorney can help you but you are certainly able to try to figure this out on your own.
I recommend a bottle of aspirin since you will probably develop a headache. Attorneys went to school for 3 years to learn what to do!
