Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Scared and dont know how to get out of marriage and still have rights to my Chil

I am in a difficult marriage that I have been trying to get out of for years. I have a friend in another state, Penn., who is willing to help me get out. Therefore I will have to leave here without my husband knowing and move to that state. He will NOT let me go unless I run. We have 3 children together, and I am worried that me leaving like I am on my own is going to cause me problems in getting any type of custody of my children once i get to Penn and file for divorce. Is there anything I should know before I do this? Am i making a legal mistake??

Sounds like it is time to go, but if you run off to Penn. and leave the children here, you surely will have a more difficult time of things in court. Talk to a lawyer in your home county.
