Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

We need to schedule summer visitation. We were told that since the custodial parent has to pick a weekend during our 15 day possession, we do not get our 15 days. Is that correct?

That is false.

But you should read your order carefully; I am commenting on a document I've never seen, which is dangerous.

USUALLY the provision for summer visitation is 30 days, and the custodial parent can designate a weekend during that time when he will have the child - and usually there's a deadline for him to do so.
