Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

when do I seek protection

My husband has left me. Pays the bills, for now. Refuses to give me the money for a lawyer. Has been consulting with his lawyers. I do not want a divorce. He does. He is taking his time to file. Slowly he is selling and fixing his assets. I have no access to anything! Not even a title of property, nothing! Everything is in his name. I need to know what can I do? How can I protect myself? I have a feeling that he is going to wait until he has everything ready for himself.

Re: when do I seek protection

In most cases, you can hire a lawyer to file and move for interim attorneys fees to pay him from the community estate. This is a nasty shock to control freaks. If you are central Texas I would love to help.
