The State of Texas does not have legal separation. You are either married or divorced. I'm not sure what you are asking. During marriage in the State of Texas assets and debts are shared.
I would encourage you to talk to a divorce attorney immediately. If the two of you are not going to be together then you need to consider filing for a divorce. If you talk to a family law attorney, the attorney can explain fully the laws of the State of Texas regarding your obligations to your wife during the marriage. You are obligated to provide her with her minimum needs.
I hope that hopefully answers your question.
