Separation and health insurance

I am currently separated from my husband and he was carrying me on his health insurance until his employer changed insurance companies. Now he took me off of his insurance and left me in the cold! I am disabled (Not eligable for medicare yet) and cannot work and do not have the money for health insurance. We are NOT divorced, nor are there any orders pending. Can he do this to me? I have alot of medical problems and NEED INSURANCE. What do I do?

Yes he can. You can file for divorce and ask for the court to order him to provide insurance coverage and spousal support, due to your disability.
