When a couple parts after a long time how is the income, Soc. Sec. assets and debts devided? The husband has two retirement incomes plus part time work & Soc.Sec., the wife has only Soc.sec.

They are still married until they get a divorce.

Texas does not have legal separation.

Generally, in Texas everything (debts and assets) are divided in half.
