Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was served child custody modification papers... My ex and I have had joint conservatorship of our son. I haven't seen or been in my child life since he was 3 months old. He is now 5 years old. I paid child support but am $2600.00 behind. My sons mother wants sole conservatorship. If I don't agree and we go to trial... What are my chance in it remaining joint conservatorship? Or what could happen? In the state of Texas

If you are behind in your child support payments, the judge can address this matter.

If you are not involved in your son's life, why do you care if it's joint or sole conservatorship?

I highly recommend that you hire an attorney immediately, especially regarding your past due child support.
