Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I got served papers from my daughters father on Jan. 27th. The paperwork was filed on Jan. 14th but didnt have a date. I have 20days to answer. Would I have 20 days from the actual date I got served the papers or 20 days from the filed date?

You have until the "Monday next" after the 20th day after you were SERVED.

But trust me, nothing is going to happen on the 21st day. Or even the 31st day. Even if you don't file an answer.
