Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Served with a SAPCR

I was served with an SAPCR from my 6 yr. old son's father. I am the custodial parent. It is telling me to consult an attorney for advice. What if I don't sign this document? Will the process go on without my signature? Will they still inform me of what they are doing next or inform me of court dates? It says it is NOT a court order. Bottom line is what will happen if I don't acknowledge the SAPCR?

If you do not acknowledge, you will lose and he will win whatever he is looking for in the SAPCR. Good Luck.
