Being Served

If i am not served by my ex do I have to show up in court?

I really can't answer the question without more information.

If you were served by alternative service, such as they could not find you and they published notice or you avoided being served so the judge allowed another form of service, then you need to show up.

If you don't show up, then only the ex will testify.

If you know you are being sued and don't show up, you lose.
