Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
How can I settle an issue involving child support and visitation without having to go to court? With the terms being legally binding? And what are the guidelines for child support or visitation as a general rule in the state of Texas?

You can't modify a court order without going to court. Why would you think that you can sit down in somebody's living room and sign an agreement that would trump a court order?
File a motion for modification that the "other side" agrees to, prepare an agreed order, and go downtown. The Judge will probably approve it.
