Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
hi,
my name is shane and im 22years old and im dating a girl that is 19 years old, we are happy with each other, the problem is the girls mother, the mother is against us dating just because she rather her daughter be with another guy, the girl does not care to be in a relationship with the other guy, the mother is constantly taking out her anger and issues out on my girlfriend.
I wanted to know if her mom has any legal power to break up our relationship because we refuse to leave each other?

No she doesn't. You are both adults.
You are technically both adults.
However, it sounds like your girl friend is a "mommy's girl".
I would like long and hard before having children together and/or getting married. If this woman is making your life "hell", it would end if you have kids or marry.
An unhappy mother-in-law will make your married life a living hell!
