Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have shared custody of 16 yr old son. He wants a job. His father says "not on my time." I have a modified court order that states the father must take our son and allow him to participate in extracurricular activities. Does a job count as an extracurricular activity?

Not really. If a parent does not want a child to work, there's not much you can do about it unless the job presents a special opportunity for the child. If you sue your husband to try to force him to let your son work, the cost of the lawsuit is probably greater than what you son can earn, anyway. I'm sorry he's being such a pill.
