Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have short term legal guardianship of a four year old male. His mother voluntarily relinquished custody to me because he was too much for her to handle. She has done this a few times now.

Our guardianship agreement was that we would have him until January 6 to try to provide some stability for him instead of the constant back and forth.

She has asked to have him back next Wednesday.

My psychologist said that it would be detrimental to him psychologicially to drop him off at her home and then leave him. She said it would be better if the birthmom came to my house and picked him and his belongings up from me.

She does not have a car.

Do I have to deliver him to her or can I require her to come and get him if she wants him?

I don't think your are obligated to deliver the kid unless that is what you had agreed upon in the first place. Tell her she is welcome to pickup the kid or else you will keep him as agreed.
