Who's side is my attorney on?

my case has been going on for 5 years. (trying to get Child support, the father is a local attorney)case was heard with out me being present because, MY attorney's secratery forgot to let me know there was a hearing.

Question?

can anything be done about this?( my attorney said no maybe in one year.)

what can i do besides filing a grivance against my attorney

Have i lost the back child supportfor the 5 years?

(i need it for the childs collage fund)

Filing a grievance againsty your attorney is pretty strong. The local grievance committee is usually impartial or leans towards the client's favor. This just might motivate your attorney to scratch his head to fix the situation.
