if i sign adoption papers when i was druged in the hospital and thought it was my relase forms do i still have custody of my 8month ol child?

also if the babys father didnt sign the adoption papers can he get his child back if he does a DNA test?

i never recieve copies of the aoption papers and there wasnt a lawyer involed. we didnt go to court fort the adoption. what is the best way to get the child back?

I assume that the "adoption papers" you signed include an irervocable affidavit of relinquishment of parental rights.

If that's the case, you signed it before a notary and two witnesses; one of the paragraphs has spaces where you initialed EVERY LINE.

If the child's father wants to assert his parental rights, he should do so NOW - and he should FIRST look into signing up on something called the PATERNITY REGISTRY.

Did you sign the "adoption papers" last week? Six months ago?
