Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Do I have to let her go?

I have just signed with a lawyer to straighten out visitation between me and my exboyfriend. I had wanted to settle things among ourselves but due to numerous threats to me, my family, and our daughter from him, I am so scared to let her leave with him. I have been advized that until we go to court I do not have to let her leave with him. He is wanting to spend time with her but not in my home where I would feel safer. Do I have to comply with any of his requests of meeting at other places? And can my refusal to allow our child to leave with him at this time be used against me when we do begin our court hearings?

Re: Do I have to let her go?

You're paying a lawyer for legal advice and representation. Why aren't you asking him/her these questions.
