Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I signed over my parental right to my dad when my child was born. My dad just passed can I get my right reinstated? It was a closed adoption and my child has always stayed with me.

I suppose you could become a foster parent and then apply to adopt the child. But you have to come full circle--you cannot backtrack and have the termination rescinded.
