Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Signed waiver to skip court when I was 17

I was tricked into signing over Managing Conservator of my daughter when I was 17. I read something that said you can't sign a waiver of you rights when you are under the age of 18 without an attorey present. Is this true and if it is does this mean the custody papers are void or voidable?

You obviously live in the Houston area. I would need to read a certified copy of the document the judge signed in order to answer your question.
