Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I'm Single and have a child
I am a single lady who has a 1yr old son. For the past one year I have been living with my son. His dad has been paying for day care, picking him up from from and taking him to day care on week days.
Know he wants my son to be spending three days of the week with him of which I am not ready to part with my son for that long.
Is there anything I should do especially since he threatens to one day go and pick my son from daycare and go with him.
Does he have the right? If we go to court how will this work out for it seems that is where it will end up.

Did he sign anything when the baby was born acknowledging that he was the father of this child?
I urge you to either go to the TX Attorney General office or hire a private attorney immediately.
If he runs with a one year old baby, it will be extremely difficult to find the baby.

Based on what you have stated, it appears that the individual you are indicating is the father has not been adjudicated as the father by a court. You need to contact a law firm or the AG's office for assistance with obtaining the appropriate court orders for child custody, child visitation, and child support.
