Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I'm a single mom of two kids. My oldest son is 7 years old, a year ago the father begins to paid childsupport, but he never spend time or visit them, because he was married at that time I got pregnat. Know his wife found out about it, and he wants to take my kids to spend the weekend with them, but I'm not sure that is time yet for the step, because my kids didn't know him or his family. What can I do?

The court order probably provides for Dad to have regular weekend (and holiday) visitation.
The problem is that the children don't know hte father, and it might be traumatic for the children to spend a long period of time in a stranger's house.
Have you talked to Dad about this? Any chance he'd agree to a couple of "get acquainted" meetings with you and the children at a local park, or at McDonald's?
Unfortunately, the parts of the court order that require you to surrender the children to Dad on Friday at 6:00 pm are enforceable by contempt.
Your best bet: start communicating with Dad NOW. Express your concerns. Maybe write an old-fashioned paper letter (keep a copy). Be sure to put a date on it.
