Am not sure I understand your question. Do you have children from a prior relationship, with a man who is now divorcing his wife? You need to establish that he is biological father of your children, if you were not married, and ask for child support. You need an attorney to do this for you. The Attorney General will handle the case at no charge to you, however, know that it is a slow and tedious process through their office.

Or are you are saying that you have children from a prior relationship, and the stepfather of the children is now divorcing you? The stepfather is not responsible to support the stepchildren. The biological father is. Depending upon the circumstances, you might be entitled to spousal support.
