Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Single Mother is taking her child overseas. Father has visitation rights and pays child support. She said Attorney General told her father can't do anything about it. Because she has sole custody. Is this true?

I doubt it.
First of all, there is no such thing as "sole custody" in Texas. That's not even a proper legal term in this state--I doubt the AG told her that.
Second, you can petition for a change in the parent-child relationship to prevent her from moving the child overseas. You might not win, but you have the right to try. Please take your AG order to a good local family law attorney, pay a consultation fee, and get some good advice based on the specific facts in your case.
Good luck!!
