Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My sister had to sign a conservertship over to her inlaws
I am not sure what this is but my sister had to sign a conservertship over to her in-laws. Her husband made her do it. She has never been in trouble with the law or with any drug or alchol use. They will not let her have the kids back at all. They keep saying that they have all legal rights to them and she doesn't. She lives in VA and this all happened in TX. How can she ger her kids back. Is this even legal. She is still married to the father. They do NOT have a good marriage and are always fighting. I have never heard of this. Can she go to any court and request to get them back. SHe has never been to court and has never seen a judge.
They did this behind her back and forced her to sign it and said if she did not sign it then they will have her arrested for Kidnapping. Please help any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is way too complicated to answer here. Your sister needs a family law attorney in the county where this was done, and she needs one now.
