Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

help!!!

Here is my situation. About a year ago I got a call from my ex girlfriend saying that I had a four year old daughter, but she told me that she put her current boyfriend as the father on all documentation including the birth certificate. We went to court to establish paternity, I was a positive match. I have joint legal and pys. custody I pay all my child support( no backpay) and I follow all the visitation even though I have no idea where my daughter lives or a contact number in case something happens, but my ex girlfriend has insisted that I'm still nothing to my daughter but an ATM. She still puts her boyfriend on everything as the father even on school records including claiming her on his income tax papers, which I have document proof of . I've called the attny. General's office they won't do anything, all they care about is me paying child support and poviding insur. In a way isn't what they are doing is fraud ? Confusing my daughter about ''dad'' is NOT in her best interest. My daughter tells me things that a 4 yearold can't possibily understand. If anything thing me coming into the picture hasn't been the best for her. What if any are my options and is there any recourse that I can take against my ex?

Re: help!!!

You're right about the AG's office. They are not going to help you straighten out this situation. You will have to go to court to enforce visitation, obtain the contact data and maybe even seek contempt for the mother's failure to abide by the court order. If these issues are important to you, I advise you to contact an attorney in your area for assistance.
