Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My son just got back from IRAQ.He is stationed in germany. 2 days before he got home the wife packed up the baby, cleaned out their bank account and came back to the states. What does he have to do when he gets back to the states.she does not want to give him joint custody.

This would be a difficult question to answer, if the wife moved to any other state other than Texas. If she moved to Texas, the state may exercise jurisdiction over the children and their marriage after six months residence in the state. That means that, the wife would have to wait until the court has jurisdiction to do anything on the case. Please, contact a family law attorney.
