Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I had my first son in Bellevue,Washington and I gave him my last name and 7 months later I married his father.We are now living in Houston,Texas and we still have not changed his last name.What is the process of changing his last name into his dad's last name living in a diiferent state then where he was born at?

File a Petition for Name Change for a Minor. Both parents need to sign the final order. The court will grant the name change if both parents sign the final order. You can probalby get a form at the county law library located in the district court house.
