Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I have my son 50/50 and live in Texas, Collin County. My wife and I went to mediation and agreed to a clause that we are permanently enjoined from: allowing any person with whom the other party is romantically involved to stay overnight during periods of possession and or allowing any person of the opposite sex, unless related biologically or married to such person to stay overnight at the parties residence during periods of passion. Overnight shall be defined as between the hours of midnight and 6am.
1. My question is what happens if I go against this order and let my girlfriend stay at my house during my periods of position since I have my kid 50/50 she also has kids that want to visit and stay overnight with my son? What would be my consequences?
2. Does the above statement stay overnight at the partys residents mean she cant stay at my house but we can stay at her house?

If you violate a court order, you could be held in contempt. People still get put in jail for contempt.
TECHNICALLY, the order doesn't prevent you from taking your child over to the Girlfriend's house to spend the night. But I wouldn't want to be the one explaining that to Judge Henderson.
I agree with the previous answer, but you should talk to an attorney. To find a person in contempt, the order has to be specific. Also, the way that it is worded means a lot. It may be better (or worse) than you think.
