Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have a son and we share joint custody. Currently my X husband is going to the military and gave his wife "military power of attorney." My question is does she have any rights to my son..according to my x he says she has all the rights he did. Is this correct, do I have any rights to fight this? If so what are they?

Thank you for your time,
