Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My son is under temporary gaurdianship with a family member. Do I have to go to a judge to get him back or can the temp. gaurdian and I just verbaly end the gaurdianship?

Since he is under a temporary guardianship order, I would suggest you and the temporary guardian sign a modified order showing that the guardianship is over. If you do not, and you simply rely on the guardian's word, there would be nothing to stop the guardian from simply changing his or her mind later and proclaiming they are still the guardian since the guardian has the orders to "prove" it. Officially, until that order is modified, that original guardianship order is in full force and effect and you are unprotected.
