Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Son in trouble

My ex-wife has custody of our 2 minor children. We have 3 but the eldest is 20. The younger 2 are 15 and 13. My concern is that the 15 yr old son is getting into trouble at school (suspension) and otherwise and seems to be beyond her control. I want custody of him to try to help him. She wants to fight me in court over that and wants more child support even though I am still paying her the same as when all 3 children were minors. What do you suggest I do? She lives in Indiana and I live in Texas.

Re: Son in trouble

You should file a modification request with the court that granted the last order in the case. Preparation of a custody case requires expertise - I suggest you hire a lawyer.
