My son will b 17 in three months and he lives with his dad but wants to live with me his mom but his dad said he would fight me in court. What do I do

File a petition to modify the parent-child relationship and ask the court to make you the conservator having the exclusive right to designate the primary residence of the child and having the exclusive right to receive child support. Attach to your petition a motion for the court to interview your child in chambers.

This is best handled by an attorney because custody disputes get complicated and ugly really fast.
