Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My son is 4 years old, and out of the blue he told me that, "mommy scared me because she was talking mean about you." I have no doubt in my mind that she is slandering, and saying horrible things about me to our son because she will outright yell and call me names during phone conversations while I can hear our son in the background. What do I do to prevent this from continuing? Do I need to seek further legal intervention?

You'll need a court order - you'll need to ask the Court to modify the custody order so that it prevents Mom from slandering you, or even allowing the child to be around OTHER PEOPLE who slander you. A judge will give you this.

And then after that, the problem is enforcement.
