Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My son who is 13 years old has recently moved in with me. In my divorce decree custody was given to my ex-wife. My question is how do we move forward to change his primary residence? Is there a form that my ex-wife and I can file ourselves since all involved are in agreement and if so where would we find this form or do we need to hire a lawyer to file this for us? Thank you.

You need to modify your current court documents. Signing a form is not enough.
I sell DO IT YOURSELF kit for people that are in agreement with everything. You need to also do the required TX form and Harris County form. I complete those for you too. You do the legwork and file the document at the courthouse then appear before the judge and state under oath that this agreement is in the best interests of your child.
My fee to meet with you one time and do the paperwork is $300 cash. I don't prepare the papers until we've met so that your kit is designed for your family.
I MUST HAVE A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE CURRENT COURT ORDER. If you don't have one, I might be able to get one since I'm linked into the Harris County district clerk's website. I would need your cause number to find it. I charge $25 for locating it and printing it out.
If you just want me to look over your papers, I charge $1 per minute.
