Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my son is 19yrs old, I was married when he was born, my ex-husband is not his father, but his name is on the birth certificate. We have since gotten a DNA, how do I change his last name to his father's and also put his father's name on the birth certificate?

He is an adult, so he can (and must) file a petition for name change for an adult. You can take a certified copy of the order granting the name change and ask the state to change the birth certificate. http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/vs/reqproc/amendparentage.shtm
